I have always been drawn to body work and became a professional massage therapist in 2001. I love what massage can do for the body and I employ a variety of techniques and styles to provide a wide range of benefits. Massage can feel great, help induce deep relaxation and decrease stress. Massage can also be used to assist with fertility challenges, help therapeutically to alleviate aches and pains, and help increase flexibility and heal injuries.
I studied massage therapy at The Soma Institute--the National School for Clinical Massage and graduated with honors in 2001. Shortly thereafter I became a faculty member teaching and assisting with various courses. I have also taught Thai massage and anatomy for Thai Bodywork School and currently teach anatomy to students of Pilates Teacher Training programs
I have over 15,000 hours of hands on experience as well as over 1,000 hours of continuing education credits. In addition to clinical massage, I've expanded my education in both Western and Eastern techniques from various parts of the world and have also studied in Asia and Central America. It my goal to continue to pursue my love of massage and learning to continue bring new techniques to my clients.
The treatments I provide are a blend of many techniques and styles, and are intended to provide you with a therapeutic, yet relaxing session using only organic massage products. I customize your treatment to you and your needs.
