I have always been drawn to massage and became a professional massage therapist in 2001. I love what massage can do for the body; among other things, it can be used therapeutically, for relaxation and stress reduction, and often it just feels good!
I studied massage therapy at The Soma Institute – the National School for Clinical massage – and graduated with honors. Shortly thereafter, I became a faculty member, teaching and assisting with various courses. I have also taught Thai massage and anatomy for Thai Bodywork School of Thai Massage, and currently teach anatomy to students of Pilates Teacher Training programs as well as instructing continuing education courses.
With clinical massage as my foundation, I’ve expanded my education in both western and eastern techniques from various parts of the world and have studied in Asia and Central America. With over 1,000 hours of continuing education since 2001, it is my goal to continue to pursue my love of massage and learning to bring new techniques to my clients.
I have experience dealing with a broad array of needs, including stress reduction, pain relief, relaxation, injury treatment and fertility challenges. I have also worked with many athletes and dancers looking to improve their performances.
My treatments are a blend of many techniques and are intended to provide you with a therapeutic, yet relaxing session. No matter which type of massage you request, I customize the treatment to you and your needs.
